Logan, w.va. – WV 10 will start from Tuesday morning to remove rock in Logan.
The state department of highways said that the road will be closed on Tuesday at 9 am to remove overhanging rock from a huge rocks on Saturday, February 17. The road was completely blocked after rockslide in 21.99.
The crew of heavy maintenance is working to break and remove the rock falling on the road. WVDOH said that there are rocks about 70 feet above the road. The crew has planned to reopen the road by Monday, 26 February.
Southbound traffic on WV 10 is asked to follow Detor Signs and to take WV10 North on Landou Lane, continue directly on water street and then turn right on Dinges Street and return to WV10 South.
On the north side, the traffic hospital’s bridge will run on the Dinges Street in the traffic signal, climb on the water street and will proceed directly to the WV10 South on Landau Lane to take WV73 North.
The WVDOH will have sneakers and flaggers in the area to alert traffic.
