Los Angeles- A standout performance on the vault was found by the UCLA Gymnastics Team to start a high-energy during a meeting against Utah on Monday afternoon, but Bruons stabbed the final rotation to lose the PAC-12 meeting for the first time this season.
Number 4 Utah met number 9 UCLA, 197.300–196.975, in Pauli Pavilion in a high-spurning rivalry, which came to the final program.
Selena Harris’ brilliant white smile and a stick shut down the UCLA vault rotation when she scored her second directly 10.0. The right score was repetitive to his performance against Oregon State last week.
“She is asking for coaching,” said head coach Genel McDonald. “You too will see him in warm-up in a competition and as it is, ‘Hey, what do I need to do?” She keeps herself for the standard and I think it is actually what is often to be successful. ,

Harris also won all-round with a 39.675 score. Freshman Kelin Rosen scored 39.350 runs in four events to finish third.
Rosen recorded 9.900 on Walt and the Campbell 49.525 reached 9.925 for the score of 49.525-Bruins’s second largest vault score in the last four sessions and the fourth highest in the last 12 seasons.
Harris said, “We are just dancing at the end of the vault runway and we are very relaxed when we are training.” “I think the biggest thing is that we talk to each other. So I think it was very helpful, just communicating, because we are all doing the same vault, essentially. ,
Harris proceeded to score 9.95 to win uneven bars, then Marg Jetta Frazier tied a season-high in the event with 9.900 as Bruce gained 98.825–98.400 after two incidents.
Uuta took a lead of 147.900–147.700 after scoring 49.500 as a team on floor exercise, while the UCLA recorded 48.875 on the balance beam, leaving the fate of the meat for final rotation.
McDonald’s said, “I felt that some (beam) scores affected their energy, so there is something that we have worked on moving forward.” “To ensure that our energy and things we can control are those who are at the forefront of our mind in the entire competition.”
The UCLA has exercised its “floor party” to the floor, as Bruce has the ability to promote score, when they need the most. The team was ranked fourth at the national level in this program at Monday’s meeting.
The UCLA is counted on all seasons to pull, even with a crowd of gymnasts of alumni cheering them for a meeting of Bruce’s annual alumni meeting. The UCLA with 49.275 recorded its second lowest floor exercise score of the season, as well as two Bruce out of the border.
McDonald’s said that leading training to meet could have affected Bruce’s performance. The gymnast was taking more soft landing than people to help save their joints through the season.
“We need to mix a little differently to move forward,” McDonald’s said, “because when you are taking a soft landing, you are not training in the floor range. And so I think we probably want to adjust it a little this week. ,
Harris’s 9.95 tied to the first place on the floor and the anchor with Nya Reid 9.850 was strong with UCLA. But on the other side of the gym, Fair O’Kif logged in 9.975 – with a judge 10.0 – to secure Utah’s victory on the balance beam.
“Unfortunately, I can’t control the score,” said Reid. “I think I went there and I really have a great routine. I am not going to determine the way you feel the score and I know what I can do. ,
Monday’s dual meeting marked the final PAC -12 competition between UCLA and Utah. Bruns entered the Big Ten season due to the conference in the next season next season, while Red Rocks will shift to Big 12.
McDonald’s stated that she intends to put Utah on a schedule due to high-level performance that breed the competition between the two schools. The results of the dual meeting between the two teams in four of the last six sessions were reduced to 0.150 or less.
“We plan to continue these competitions,” McDonald’s said. “This is a wonderful tradition and history with two heritage programs and so when we are able to go to the floor with them, it is a special meeting. We definitely want to continue to move forward. ,
