The Delaware State Police on Friday night arrested a 13 -year -old teenager and a 14 -year -old teenager of Delaware, a 13 -year -old teenager and a 14 -year -old teenager for several hooliganism crimes after trying to steal a kia from a residential drive in Dover on Friday night.
Officials said on February 16, 2024, around 11:27 pm, Troopers reacted at a residence at the Nobels Talab Crossing in Dover, for a report of two suspected men who were wearing all black clothes, who tried to break the vehicles in the neighborhood.
On arrival, the soldiers searched the neighborhood for the suspects, during which they looked at a kia sornto with a shattered window, standing in a driveway on the curved train lane. Trupers discovered that the passenger behind Kia was shattered and the ignition was ripped. This type of damage is in line with the nationwide trend of the stolen by using a screwdriver and a USB cable.
While searching for the area, a soldier saw two men with all black pedestrians at the Cole Lane and More Place intersection. As the Trupener tried to make contact with him, both men fled the peacock in the south -east direction.
In chasing the upcoming leg, the suspects did not comply with several oral commands to stop. One of the suspects, known as a 13 -year -old teenager, was eventually complied with and taken into custody without any incident. Some time later, the second suspect, identified as a 14 -year -old teenager, was running on the station view drive, and was taken into custody without any incident. Due to a discovery of teenagers, the discovery of soldiers was in possession of a screwdriver and a USB cable police said.
The teenagers were taken to Troop 9, where they were accused of several hooliganism crimes.
Both teenagers were accused of occupation of Bergler Tools (Gundagardi), a motor vehicle (hooliganism), conspiracy second degree (hooliganism), criminal mischief, arrest and attempted to tamper with the vehicle. They were both debated by Justice of Shanti Court 7, and were involved in their parents’ custody.
