In an online notice about recall, the trader who asked consumers to throw the affected dumplings or returned them to any store place for full refunds.
A spokesman for CJ Foods Manufacturing Buyumont Corp told Associated Press that the company was investigating the issue, which took place during the manufacturing process. In an email statement, the food manufacturer said that “customer security is our number 1 priority”.
Foreign object contamination is one of the top causes of food in the US today. Beyond the plastic, pieces of metal, pieces of bugs and more “external” materials have made their way into the packed goods.
