(CNN)-The biggest night of fashion year is just around the corner, and the Met Gala Red Carpet theme has finally been declared as well as superstar Zendya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bani and Chris Hemsworth as this year’s co-heads.
The organizers today announced that the official dress code for the event, which will be on 6 May, is “The Garden of Time”. The topic takes his title from a 1962 short story written by British writer JG Bold, set (as explains its title) in a garden filled with transported, time-grown flowers.
Ballad, who is closely associated with the New Wave Science Fiction, often set its relevant relevant diastopian stories in the ages of ecological apocalypse or rising dying technologies.
The exhibition of the Balladian Theme Costume Institute is with “Sleeping Beauties: Revecking Fashion”, which will run in the Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 10 to September 2. The showcase contains about 250 items and textiles from a comprehensive collection of the mate, many of which are very delicate to have a stage on Mainenevines. The most delicate historical pieces will appear flat in the coffins of suspended glass instead – such as Princess Arora in the story “Sleeping Beauty”, if you will.
“This is very much for emotional poems of nature and fashion,” Andrew Bolton, Wendy You Curator in -charge of the costume institute, told the Vogue of the Exhibition. “One thing I hope that the show will be active that fashion sensory praise.”
With the co-head-heads-vog editor-in-chief of the year, Anna Wintor-in Met Gala Mainstage and Debut. Hemsworth will make her first appearance in the event, while Zendya will return for the first time in many years. Honorary chairs include Lowe’s creative director Jonathan Anderson and Tikok CEO Shu Zee Chev.
The complex, conceptual nature of this year’s dress code is contrary to the last year’s memorial node for the legacy of Carl Learfeld. The Met Gala theme often vaccinated the event for the retrospectives (such as the event of the event in 1996 in 1996 and a 1997 theme dedicated to Giani Versacea) and vaccinations between more artistic, subjective signals. On the red carpet, we can see the literal interpretation of imaginary flowers, including “glass sticks” with different stems and the petals include “crystal heart”. But there is some disappointing and sadness about Ballad’s vision. As Vogue has instructed, “Moody florals will not be sufficiently moody,” therefore expected to bloom black, or deep, more gothic.
