Yari Agnado, Executive Director of Sandwich Area Chamber of Commerce, will step down from his post due to unexpected personal circumstances.
Aguado started in the situation last June. The Sandwich Area works in business including Yorkville, Plano, Sycamore and Decalab in neighboring neighboring communities along with the Chamber of Commerce Sandwich.
“It has been an honor to serve as the Executive Director of Sandwich Area Chamber of Commerce since June 2023,” Anguado said in an email. “However, due to unexpected personal circumstances, I have taken a difficult decision to step down. While I am sad to leave, I am confident that the Chamber’s talented directors will ensure a smooth transition. I am deeply committed to the Sandwich community and want the Chamber to have a continuous success in the future. I am grateful to welcome and support warmly, and I am eager to stay connected with the Sandwich Chamber. ,
Agitado said he was proud of progress “We have created together in supporting, educating and promoting our local businesses.”
He said, “To promote powerful connections between businesses and community by organizing successful programs such as our annual golf outing, spokey sandwich trick-or-treat tour and Meera Little Sandwich Christmas, I have nurtured every opportunity to create a positive impact,” she said in email.
Agudo will not be kept down after the annual dinner of the Chamber on 25 April. Bill Noviki, chairman of the Chamber Executive Board, appreciated his achievements.
Noviki said in an email, “Yari was able to continue the mission of the Sandwich Chamber by bringing them together and empowering them for development and success.” “Some of their achievements include creating and launching new SACC websites, bringing new chamber members and working with boards on new policies and procedures.
