A few houses down from Gonzalez’s house, Jessie Mondesir was almost blown while working in the yard when the tornado touched down.

National Meteorological Service Sciences Operations Officer Donal Harigan said, “Around 2:30 pm, a cell developed at Miami-Dade County and went to the Northeast via Brooked County.”
Harigan spoke to 7news as he surveyed the damage done by the tornado to Mondesir’s house.
