Rescuers save mother dog and 2 puppies found dumped on side of road in Tampa – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

A mother dog and her two puppies were thrown on the side of a Florida road. All three dogs now have a new strap on life for a good Samari.

The puppies were thrown from a moving car. Now, an animal rescue is nursing them back to health.

“The bus approached and she is following her with the puppy in the truck,” a rescueer said.

A 3 -year -old woman dog searched her children under a dark road in a suburb of Tampa.

The rescue team found two of her puppies and used them for safety.

The rescue team said the puppies had injuries to suit a moving vehicle. They were able to save two puppies but four others did not make it.

April McConelie said, “There is not a single excuse that you can dump your dog in this planet and leave something that loves you.”

About a week after the incident, Maya and her puppies, Valentino and Scarlett, lived with the Macniley Family Rescue in Central Florida and rescue teams at the sanctuary.

“Somebody has to know who Maya is and where she came from,” said Mackeli. “You know, someone, a neighbor, a friend, a familiar, someone who works with them, someone who passes through their house every day.”

The rescue owner McNelli said that dogs were discovered on a road notorious to dump dogs because there was no camera.

He said that Maya was found malnourished and X-rays stained with previous injuries. There are also issues with the dog’s hip.

Valentino has trouble walking.

Mcneely dogs expects to find a permanent house, but want people to know that it comes with a financial responsibility.

“Valentino was barely running when we found him,” he said. “They both were having moving problems and both of them were hypothermic, it was a very cold night, but you can see their mobility issues. It is an animal cruelty. It is a punishable criminal act.”

Dogs soon have follow -up trips with a veterinarian.

Whoever adopts them will need to consider financial obligation.
