Jones said that this remedy, which is included in the village. This idea is a new venture for the division of forestry. Historically, the agency is largely its strength when it comes to wildfire. Although supported by local volunteer firefighters, the agency usually fought with its own people. But 2023 proved that the work could be greater than manpower.
Additional funding will help and fall in the most unstable time of spring, Jones said.
He said, “The way I imagine that some part -time employees will be called as required or placed on the condition of preparations if we know the dry season is coming,” they explained.
Jones believed that they would hire some work that are already trained in fire skills, but said that it is possible that everyone would have to undergo a Wildland Fire Fighting Course.
“This is a new enterprise for us, so I am sure it will be favorable and change, but we want these people to go and flexible to go so that we can use them immediately when we call them.” Jones said.
