Daytona Beach, Fla. (AP) -Nascar has postponed Season-Opening Detona 500 till Monday due to two days of rain in Detona International Speedway.
The race was scheduled for Sunday afternoon, although the weather forecasts doubted the whole week. The final exercise for drivers was canceled on Saturday, as was the race for the Xfinity series.
The race for the Xfinity series is now to be held on Monday morning, which is an hour ahead for Detona 500 before 4 pm.

The last time Detona 500 was postponed in 2012. NASCAR completed 20 laps before the rain activity in 2020, and the race resumed the next day.
In making initial calls on Sunday, NASCAR prevented fans from sitting in the rain, waiting for the decision on whether the race would move forward. This continued to perform a wish NASCAR earlier this month, when it shifted the exhibition struggle to Colizium throughout the day on a small notice due to bad weather leading to Los Angeles.
Spire motorcysts driver Zen Smith offered on social media on Sunday with fans.
Smith “hates the rain, but it’s going to make the most and try to meet some of you,” Smith Tweeted“Tell me at the place of your camp and I will try to find you!”

Despite the adjournment, NASCAR and Daytona continued many perrace activities, including singer and trackhouse racing co-owner Pitbul and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson from Johnson.
Pitbul’s prepared concert was scored. He already agreed to return next year and then perform. Johnson is the grand marshal of the race, who tasked the command to drivers to start his engine.
“Everything happens for a reason,” Madison Marsh said, the secret of Miss America which was determined to drive a speed car and take the ground to the green flag. “Although I loved, obviously, to drive the pace car, there are many other parts of this weekend that have been fantastic.
“Just to be a part of that, I am going to regret anytime … obviously it is preferred to drive, but everything is going to work the way.”
