Los Angeles- Kings won their fifth win in six matches under the interim head coach Jim Hillar, with a struggling Columbus Blue Jacket 5–1 away on Tuesday night at Crypto.com Arena.
Returning from a successful road trip, there was a trio behind coming from coming, a-gall win, the Kings themselves continued to work out of the Midsanson foul smell, resulting in Hillar replacing Head Coach Tod McLeanne, less than three weeks ago.
The second two-goal game of the Pierre-Luke Dubois, a highlight-rear attempt from Quinton Bif one, a late power-level conversion from Kevin Fiala, and a wonderful point of Drew Doti, the Kings (28-16-10, 66 points) gave a clear way to their sixth win in seven games.
The Golmator Came Talbot placed in a strong attempt, rescued 33 against the team in the Metropolitan Division, which fired General Manager Zarmo Caclineen last week.
Blue jackets stopped 31 of 36 shots to start goalkeeper Elvis Merglicins, and the first one did not set the tone.
Byfield’s uncharted opening goal stole the show.
From a faceoff at the end of the Kings, the 6 -foot -5 forward jumped on a loose clock and moved towards the area of the blue jacket, where he bowed back to his left before cutting the defenseman Zach Verenski back with a hop while the left faceoff circle.
In a fluid sequence, the 21 -year -old Winger, who was the second pick in the 2020 NHL draft, carried forward the Pak to bring back to his stick before dividing the defenders directly in front of the Columbus goal.
With his left knee on ice, Bifield pulled the cuis on the goal face for his backhand, defeating the merzlicin gloves for a 1-0 lead on the 18th of his season. Bifield, who also had a support, has six goals and 12 points in the last 10 matches.
The Kings doubled their lead in the second round, when Dubois faced the team that placed it third in 2016, converting 21 seconds into a power play.
Receiving Puck from Talbot, Defenseman Brant Clarke, who scored his first NHL goal with an overtime game-winner against Boston on Saturday, dumped the drama deeply in the blue jacket, where Dubois punched it inside the left circle for the first time.
Columbus (17–27–10, 44 PTS) got a back when the Bokwist scored his first goal in 24 matches played this season, leaving it from behind the net of Talbot’s right leg pad at 4:41.
Kings took a two -goal lead when Dubois scored their sixth point in six matches on their 13th goal. Camping in front of Columbus Net, high -priced forward assisted the bifild’s 24th assistance to Alex Turkote’s second.
In the third period, a successful result was sealed at 15:56 in the 14th position of Lakshya-Fiala and at the 12th of Dauti at 19:36-a successful result in the three-game homestand opener.
A target and assist scored 31 points, which scored the defenseman at least 30 consecutive terms.
Kings Forward Victor Arvidson suffered a low body injury in the first period and did not return. This was only his fourth game this season after undergoing surgery back in October.
