District 155 approved the two coaches, who will replace legends next time in the Preary Ridge.
Hillary Agnalo, a graduate of the 1999 Prey Ridge, was employed to take over for Stephanie Otto, the only volleyball coach of Volvs, who existed in his 27 -year.
The 2009 Crystal Lake South Graduate, Michael Ferrics, was named the new football coach, filling the Chris Srapp by 22 seasons.
Otto set a record of 682–305 in its 27 sessions. She is retiring as a science teacher at the Preary Ridge.
With the three Class 6A State Championships, Srinap was 187–64 in his tenure. He resigned so that he could apply for the post of athletic director. The current advertisement Mark Gibert School is retiring at the end of the year and Schremp will be their replacement.
Frary, who teaches mathematics in the Preary Ridge, is on the staff of Srappa for two sessions.
“We had lunch before hiring in PR, before hiring on January,” I remember coming home and telling his wife (Sheri), “Sench said,” Mike is going to be a very strong candidate someday to become a head coach. “
“That was. You can tell right now. Mike has that personality. You can tell that he is excited, and he is very student-centric, where he is ready to do the right thing for the children. Mike is going to do a great job.”
Since SCREMP would be working with new coaches, Gilbert postponed Schremp for the selection process.
Schremp is excited that coaching staff – separate from themselves – all will come back. The aggressive coordinator who is more than 15 years with Teerhar and Defense Coordinator Andy Peterson Schremp.
“This means that a lot is coming from him,” said the fricks. “We were able to sit and chat and perhaps he saw that I am a leader, a person who is confident and has been around football and understands the game of football and understands it here and glorious traditions.
“The programs I have been part of, they have shaped me today. It may be that all that has come to the fore in our conversation.
NCAA Division II SOX Falls, after graduation in SD, played Ferrics, coached at the university and then taught and coached in Sox Falls Washington, who won three consecutive state championships in South Dakota’s largest school class.
Frericks and his wife Natalie had a 3 -year -old son Kash and wanted to return to the Crystal Lake area while he was starting searching for teaching positions.
Now, Frericks capture one of the state’s top football programs. He is only the third main football coach in school history.
“I really feel honored to be honored for Chris Srapp by,” he said. “What they have done for this program and this area is incredible. I feel really lucky. Many people what they put are still around, and tradition and expectations.
“I got to see it for two years, it was like an internship. I was able to see how things were done. I really feel that I can take a lot of that stuff and take it to a new tradition and continue to live for that excellence. It is like a goal. ,
Agnello was the 1998 Northwest Herald Volleyball Player of the Year and went to play in Pen State. He coached for the Five season (2018-22) in McHeenry and worked as a dean at Crystal Lake South.
His daughter, Mazi Agnelo, was a freshman standout for Volves last season. Hillary Agnelo is excited about following her high school coach in her Alma Mater.
“The good thing is that she was the first head coach in PR, I was one of her first players and her last year in PR was with my daughter,” said Egeno. “Whoever lives for so long, the program is associated with that coach. The beauty is that it is also a little associated with our family as we both have gone through the program. This is a connection. This is a community.
“He is the whole (Prey Ridge) athletic program mythological, but the volleyball program is the largest in itself.”
Along with Mazi, Agnelo has two sons, Carson (seventh grade) and Leo (fifth).
Schremp remember that when the Prey Ridge was opened and he was a freshman football coach, and he went into volleyball matches after practice.
“I just remember her presence in court, her enthusiasm,” he said. “I remember that she sees her playing and likes, ‘Wow, this is a division i player.” I always remembered him. Stephanie said that he is probably one of the best if the best volleyball player Prey Ridge has never done. It is saying something with all the great players that we have. It is really good to return to ensure it.
“I remember that she is spikeing the ball and going, ‘Wow!” And then hearing, ‘She is going to the pen state.’ I can see why. With Hillary, the enthusiasm he brings, girls are for a treatment how she is with volleyball and what volleyball can do to help our young women better people. He is great in teaching his game and teaching children to become a better person. ,
