Indianapolis (AP) – NBA wanted more competition. Get more marks instead – more than ever.
And once again, the all-star game was all crime.
The Eastern Conference defeated the Western Conference 211–186 on Sunday night, with the winners scored the most points in the 73-year history of the game. Previous mark: 196 by West in 2016.
“We used to have fun,” said Gianis Antatoconampo, Eastern captain of Milwauki Box.
This record was a hurry: 397 total points broke the record of 374 sets in 2017, while East in 2019 made 42 3-pointers to break the impression of 35 sets by Team Lebron. The sides combined for 193 points for 193 points for 193 points to break the 193 points, and East recorded an Annie-Hall.
All-star MVP Demian Lillard of the Box scored 39 points for the East, while Boston Celtics K Jelene Brown finished 36 from the hometown Indiana pacers and Tieres Heliberton with 32.
“To be able to achieve such achievement, it is special,” Lillard said.
Perhaps nobody attention: Carl-Athony Town of Minnesota Timberwells scored 50 points for the West in just 28 minutes. Shai Gilgas-Alexander of Oklahoma City Thunder scored 31 points for the West.
“East shot-making was incredible,” said West Forward Kevin Durant. “When someone’s shooting is difficult to play defense on you on 30-, 40-foot.”
West also scored a ton point, in 186, it was the fourth highest fourth highest by any team in All-Star history. And of course, most of one loss.
Highlights were from everywhere. Lillard pulled the Third Quarter – from Hafcourt in Swish. Luka Donic tried a shot about 70 feet late in the first half; It hit near the top of the backboard. Cities also threw a street-up for Stephen Curry; Warriors Star is much higher than a shooter than a dunker, so he put it instead.
The only drama record in the fourth was about the record – and in fact, it was not in doubt. Earlier there were 160 points through three quarters, only 37 more required to set the team all-star records.
Brown’s 3-Poanter with 1:54 left the East in 197, Haliburton made a shot, which sent a scoreboard for a 200-digit mark for the first time in any type of official NBA history, connected to deep with 1:27.
Lillard said that the former wanted the record.
“Everyone was asking what the record was,” Lillard said. “We came to know and then went away.”
And Lillard finished it in style-a 44-footer to close the scoring. He made 11 3-pointers at night, whose official distance was recorded at 347 feet. A specific NBA 3-Pointer is 24 or 25 feet; Lillard covered a distance of 31 1/2 feet on his Sunday night.
Duunt said that he was sitting with Kavi Leonard of Los Angeles Clippers looking at Lillard on the West Bench. “We were in awe,” said Durant.
Defense was optional, sometimes accidental. 14 were stolen, most of which were coming from nearby. And even there were three blocked shots.
Otherwise, it was shooting practice. And the tone was set quickly-Heliberton had five 3-pointers in the wild interval of just 1:32 in the first quarter, helping the East take 53–47 lead after 12 minutes.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and other league officials were looking for a more competitive all-star game after the 184–175 matchup last season, and the television rating was reduced.
Even the Hall of Famer Larry Bird, NBA Legends was honored on Sunday at Brach, said the league was expected to resonate the message and the players took the all-star game a little more seriously.
Bird said, “I know what is about this league and I am very proud of it.” “I am proud of today’s players.
There was a big game, the atmosphere of final-type-but obviously the playoff had nothing. Donovan Mitchell threw the 50 -foot inbound pass underhand, Bam Adebayo inbounded a ball from Nicola Jokik’s backside before drinking the downcourt and making 3, and Devin Booker went backwards through a pregem with a cap.
Fun, and Labron James-In his 20th All-Star game, expanding his records-that was a big techway.
James said, “The good thing that comes out of tonight is that no player was injured.” “Everyone came out.”
Perhaps except scoreboard.
