The OSF St. Luke Medical Center in Kavani announced the launch of its Dual Help Group, Life of Loss, which is dedicated to providing solitude and companionship for persons dealing with grief.
The later life of Los Support Group provides a welcome and confidential place where participants can share their experiences and feelings with others who are facing loss of a loved one. Under the leadership of experienced features of OSF Healthcare, group sessions offer sympathy, understanding and practical strategies to navigate grief.
Participants are invited to join life after the Los Support Group at 10 am on the first and third Friday of each month. The sessions are held in the South Conference Room in OSF Saint Luke, 1051 W South St.
“We understand the intensive impact that the disadvantage can occur on individuals and families,” Calin Mason said, Life’s Facilitator in a news release after Los Support Group. “Our goal is to create an auxiliary community where individuals can find comfort and treatment because they navigate their journey of grief together.”
