According to the Douglas County Sheriff Office, one person was killed and the other was injured in an accident on Sunday morning near Baldwin Junction.

48 -year -old Christopher Robert Stargos of Tonganoxi, and 49 -year -old Margaret Kathleen Coleman of Overland Park, were south on the US Highway 59 on an Indian Sardar motorcycle, when the rear tires were pulled out, which according to a crash report from the Cancer highway patrol, to slide the motorcycle.
Kolman could not escape the accident. According to KHP report, Stagos was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with suspected serious injuries.
The US Highway 59 was discontinued as US Highway 56, Baldwin Junction, Sheriff Office and Cancas Highway Petrol. According to the Sheriff Office, traffic is needed to exit the US 56.
The Sheriff Office was assisting KHP with the investigation and traffic control of KHP, a spokesman of DGSO George Dipenbrock said via email.
