Comombs were working to close a water line when he fell through a piece of tin which was covering the old well which he did not know that he was also present.
“When I landed, I did not have my intelligence about me,” said Combes. “I was wet, getting wet.”
Not only did the comb well fell 30 feet below the rocky and injured her back, but she was also for knee with chili water.
There was no one else in the farm, so he started calling every 90 seconds for the next three and a half hours, in which someone hopes that someone listens to him.
“I had a good conversation with God,” Comombs said. “I did not make any deal like” If you take me out, I will do … “I didn’t think it was appropriate.”
Comombs said that he does not lose hope, assuming that someone would listen to him that night before falling down from the cold.
Thankfully, a friend came to investigate on him, because he was not responding to his phone and heard him in the well.
“He said ‘Where are you?” I said that I am just under this hole at home well.
The firefighters of the Katavba County established rigging to remove the combs. A hikri fire fighter that was down in a well.
“He said that ‘don’t worry,’ we are going to hook you and make sure you are comfortable and pulling you.”
Comombs said he would never forget the moment when he came out of the well and all the firefighters and the first respondents saved him.
“I was grateful and grateful and certainly relieved that I was about to leave and the boy was a great feeling,” Comombs said.
Comombs said that family members and friends are helping them in their recovery. He said that a pedallock is now at the door that leads to the well that will be permanently covered.
