MorGantown, W.VA – When West Virginia was played in Central Florida four weeks ago, climbers did so as an optimistic bunch. Despite being a record of 7–11 at that time, WVU defeated a pair of opponents ranked in Texas and conceive from their last three matches.
Then there was a loss of 72–59 for the knights, which remained a winning season outside Morgantown for a long time. It started six defeats in seven matches for West Virginia, which is also out to exit with Central Florida, when both teams meet WVU Coliseum at 7 pm on Tuesday evening. The matchup will air on ESPNU between a pair of struggling squads.
“We did not match materiality or handle it well. We did not turn the ball several times [11]”WVU interim head coach Josh Eilert said about the first meeting with UCF.” More than anything, his pressure provoked us and we gave bail on many of our tasks and we did not execute the standard that we need to execute to succeed. We put our head down and when it is a reality that we should move the ball, instead of trying to fight the draw and the drawback, Must maintain
At that time UCF defeated West Virginia (8–17, 3-9), knights (13–11, 4-8) 12–6 and divided their first six major 12 games during their inaugural session in the league. But the Central Florida’s alone win in four weeks was a domestic game against Oklahoma, with the knights dropped five of their last six matches and there was a dire need to win road to play more meaningful basketball under the regular season stretch.
“They are fighting, claws and can do everything to succeed in this league,” Ilart said, “and we’re trying to find out everything in the same boat.”
As Ilart said, Turnvers in their team’s first meeting with the knights were not one of the more pressure issues in the earlier meeting, although it is anything but the late case during the four-game losing streak.
The climbers have 57 turnover in their last four competitions, including 48 in the last three. Well know that UCF will try to bring the same level of materiality for matchup in Morgantown, as it was the first time, Ilart says that his team should cut on turnover, especially live ball types of people who often lead to high percentage shots for the opposition directly.
“Many times we are very good to take care of the ball and sometimes we are dirty with it,” said Ilart. “We are trying to worry about small areas we can control. It is not always on the guard. The guard will take a lot of heat to not take care of the ball, but sometimes it is our effort, cut, time and time [not] Being open can also be defective. We certainly need to give better importance to basketball and work for full best shot. Live Ball Turnover has killed us by the last three matches. ,
The most recent outings in West Virginia had 14 turnover, causing 20 boiler points to win the 94–81 win of beers.
The climbers got 25 points from Raiken Battle and 21 points from JC Edwards as both included more than half of the team’s scoring. Battle struggled with five points and was excluded for two technical dishonesty in the first meeting with the UCF, while Edwards missed out of their nine matches due to a fragmented wrist in mid -December. West Virginia shot that game just 36 percent, was dropped from 45–34 and made more three-pointers (11) than shots inside the arch (10.)
“Maybe we may have one of the worst aggressive execution presentations ever,” said Ilart. “His pressure disturbed us and brought us down. We need to clean what we can clean and it cannot be against us. It should be against us. Sometimes in that game it seemed that we were disappointed in many ways and we were not on the same page. It was a credit for how they were playing us defensively. Our mindset has to go to this game. [Ibrahima] Dialo is one of the best shot blockers in the league. We need to drive and kick instead of trying to drive and go through these people. ,

Define-brain knights allow an average of 66.5 points-the third best mark in 12 and more than eight points in the game less than 74.8 The Mountaineers, which ranks the final in the conference, as WVU’s 68.4 scoring average.
Central Florida Guard Jayalin Sellers and Daryas Johnson have been aggressively catalysts throughout the season. The 6-Foot-4 seller Big 12 is at fourth place with average 17 points, while the 6–1 Johnson is average 13.6 and represents the team’s only other double-fiber scorer. While the vendors scored a game-high 18 in the first match with WVU, Johnson finished with seven points on 1-for-8 shooting.

“We need continuity from four or five people. It cannot be just two people, ”said Ilart. “As I said about boiler, the reason for this is that they are very good because they get aggressive production from six or seven people. You never know what they are going to hit with you and who is going to take you out at night and night. We can’t have a one or two -sided attacks. You have four or five options. We have four or five options.

Eilert confirmed that Junior Guard Seth Wilson would be out for another straight game and for the third time in the last four competitions.
Wilson was struggling with a waist injury and was away from the team during Saturday’s loss to Beelers due to his grandmother’s recent death.
“This is a tragic situation for him and his family and we will see him coming to the end of this week,” Ilart said, “but I don’t guess him tomorrow.”
Wilson scored seven points – his second highest in Big 12 this season – UCF.
