Miami International Airport, Fla. (WSVN) – Miami International Airport is celebrating a new investment towards a better future.
The airport will receive a $ 27 million prize to improve its central terminal and E and F Concourse.
Miami-Dade Mayor Danila Levin Kava said on Thursday that the award is a result of a significant cooperation between the county and the federal government.
“This is a large extent thanks to our partnership with the Transport Department, and we are sure that we never let them be disappointed,” he said.
The US Transport Deputy Secretary Poly joined by Trottenberg for the announcement of the mayor.
This money is part of the President Joe Biden’s “Investment in America” agenda.
The grant will also repair the People’s Mover System at Concourse E.
