The eight-day break between the Games for Marshall has ended as the herd continued the three-market swing in the Appalachian state on Thursday night.
The game closed the game at Holmes Convocation Center at Bune, Northern Carolina at 6:30 pm and can be seen on ESPN+.
Marshal (12–13, 7-5) is losing 82-66 in Troy on 7 February, while climbers (20–5, 10-2) knocked on Toledo 109–104 in double overtime on Saturday at Mac/Sun Belt Challenge.
The Sun Belt Conference Standing with Appalachian State Troy is tied. Marshal is three games behind and tied with Southern Mississippi for the fifth.
Appalachian state’s victory over Toledo was part of a 10–2 points for the Sun belt teams against Mac Squad, with 11 games played on last Saturday and one Sunday. Only two sun belts disadvantages – from the Old Dominion against Buffalo against Central Michigan and Georgia Dakshin – from a point.
“How about that weak sun belt,” said Dan D’Antony, the head coach of the flock. “We went against a good medieval conference with a 10-2-one-point necklace and seven blowouts win.
D’Antony closed his team in the last weekend in an attempt to recharge before the regular season stretch. He hopes he will see a more concentrated team against climbers.
“We have grown better than what we did last week,” D “Antony said. “We have seen things that we have worked in practice. I trust my children. I like my team and I trust them to do the right thing.”
Dustin Knes, head coach of Appalachian State, has led a major event this season, which has been highlighted with a strong game in the sun belt as well as a non-conference win over Oborn, UnC-Wilmington, Murray State and Austin PEY.
