She hound Wildcats, removing them as she tried to drill it before sending long balls that wreaked havoc.
Both Kodama and Emma Castro scored for Louisville and goal-keeper Emily Brown and recorded five savings. Monroovia had 11 shots and dominated occupations for the majority of the game.
The Royals (21–2–1) rarely provoked a series of sports together, instead they used those long balls-both passes and defensive approval, as per-obstructing any flow produced by-Monrooovia (16–3–1) because it tried to erase the first-half deficit.
In the 13th minute, Morris placed a leg to turn the Wildcats into half of his half before passing the ball to Castro quickly. Castro took a look at Kodama, sent the striker to a lab through a lb, which required just a touch to slot it in the net.
Kodama did not even see the ball inside and the game was left in the game as she was shaking on playing.
“I was jumping into the air to kick it,” Kodama said. “They swept my feet down so I was looking at the sky and I hit my head.”
Following the initial target of Kodama, the Royals depths their 4-5–1 formation, with each player to prevent Monrovia from any clear cuts except Kodama or behind it.
The first opportunity of Monrovia came in the 29th minute, despite most of its half captured. Striker Eva Hakworth tested Brown with a powerful long shot at a distance of 20 yards and brown crossed it.
A minute before the Halftime Whistle, the Royals rode the formula similar to their second goal. Morris again dominated Obre Mendoza and took the ball and sent a lobe towards Kodama, which took protecting Monrovia. Her shot removed a defender and landed on Castro’s feet to the left of the box and she gave Luisville a 2–0 child.
In the first 10 minutes of the second half, Monroovia recorded four shots as it tried to cut the margin in half.
Berlynn Granier broke a Monroovia Breakway in the 62nd minute. The discipline helped to keep those types of tackle and discipline ball out of the boundary or in half of Wildcats.
Royals’ head coach Ariana Martinez said, “It was a stellar in terms of how we defended.”
After Thursday’s practice – the last one before the championship game – Martinez gathered the players in the team and reminded them that “this team is a family,” former player Jessica Hyiman reiterates her history by bringing her out. Hyiman was a member of the last Louisville team to win the CIF championship in 2001.
Martinez and Hyiman said “they are in harmony defensively that they have found here” and it was translated on Friday because the Royals stuck to the game plan, not discouraged because Monrovia constantly pressured her backline.
