Even if the Cancer MLAs do not pass the bill in alignment with the mission of Lawrence Non -Profit, they have opened a conversation on period equity, and this is a win for a group of local teenagers.
When Giova Rubenstein helped launch the no-trancism hygiene pantry of Honor Moon with seven other teenagers in 2021, they saw the removal of the cansus sales on the products of the period, which are usually referred to as a pink tax, as an impossible dream.

“But I think articles are being written about what is important, and if we get a hearing, seven teenage girls will mainly go in front of men and talk about periods,” Mulrid said. “So in alone, I think we are doing something big and great.”
For Hazel Power, the Pantry Management Director, Capital’s visit allowed them to see women at work.
Powers wrote in a message, “It was very inspiring to visit a place where changes are in the hope of every day that the changes we are trying to make will be heard.”
