Indianapolis- For the first time in four years, Laks Star Big Man Anthony Davis returned to the stage where there is a Caliber player: in the All-Star weekend for the Sunday exhibition between top players at Western and Eastern Conferences.
When Davis was named a Western Conference All-Star Reserve on 1 February, he marked for the ninth time that he was honored in his career, but the first time after the 2020–21 season after being an all-star for eight consecutive sessions (2013–21) (2013–21).
For the first time since Sunday 2020, Davis would have played in the all-star game after remembering the ’21 all-star game ‘due to a correct stressful calf.
The first time after the All-Star Game 2017 is returning to a former vs. West format, scrapping the format that did not tell the Captain any connection with his respective teams for conference affiliation.
“It’s an honor,” Davis said during her Saturday’s media availability at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, “It is a privilege to be here. Many people cannot say that they have been an all-star, especially for nine times that I have. You never take it. With last year injuries, I think I could not still do it.
“Going back to be identified as one of the top players in the league, this is just a credit for my team, my trainers and goods, to make sure that I am healthy for the whole year and then just come back to the level that I am playing.”
In the last two sessions in the last two sessions in the six sessions of injuries and missed sports-Dewis 60% or less, Davis was not named All-Star in 2022 and ’23.
But stability has not been an issue for Davis this year. He entered the all-star weekend, with 52 and 56 of the 56 regular-season games played with 52 and 24.9 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.8 assist and 2.5 blocks.
After 92.8% of the 92.8% of the game is played-which is additional for about 76 games in the 82-game season-Deviis is not only at the speed to play the most games for Laks in one regular session, but it is also at the pace of setting a new career-high for the game. Davis played 75 regular-season games with New Orleans Pelican in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 season.
Davis said about his preparation for the season, “Just locking, knowing that when I am on the floor, my team is better,” Davis said about his preparation for the season. “When I get away from the floor, I can’t do anything to help them.”
Davis, 2017 NBA All-Star Game MVP, recalled two appearances (2015 and ’21) due to 20.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 stolen stolen in their six previous all-star game showwave. Davis responded to an array of specific questions during the all-star weekend.

Davis mentioned Oklahoma City Thunder Guard Shai Gilgas-Alexander, as a player he does not believe that he gets enough credit.
“I mean, he talks, but perhaps not to the extent he needs,” Davis said. “They are playing great basketball. OKC is playing the great basketball. He is clearly leading the charge. What he is doing for that organization, for that team, for that team, the amount of success they have been doing in the last few years, I think it should be a little more recognized.”
Labron James, the partner of Davis’s Laps team, will be the captain of the Western Conference All-Star Squad for Sunday’s game.
James was not in Saturday’s All-Star Practice and Media Day and has been scheduled to provide a few hours before the game on Sunday.
Clippers Forward Kavi Leonard and Paul George will also play as a store for West Squad.
