Husband faces murder charge in Albright shooting

Albright, W.VA. – The Depot of the Preston County Sheriff Department on Tuesday accused an albreight man after allegedly shot and killed his wife.

Deputy on Woolen Mills Road in Alberite responded and learned that Natasha Collins was shot and found in a nearby ground.

According to Deputies, her husband, 29 -year -old Edward Garlette, was the only person with her when she was shooting.

During the interview by the depot, Garlette made inconsistent statements and placed under the arrest.

As a result of his injuries, Colins died at the Preston Memorial Hospital.

Garlette has been accused of a count of the first-degree murder and is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail without a bond.
