“While swimming trainers aim to prepare each swimmer to join a swimming team, I think that as floating trainers we have the passion we have to drive and save life,” Hachinson said. “We all know that if you have the right equipment, a tragedy can be stopped in water. “Even if you don’t have a lifejacket, your swim lessons will be with you.”
For more than seven years, St. Charles Aquatic Swim School has participated with St. Charles Park District to provide instructions to provide instructions to swim with swimming texts, diving and water polo and swimming fitness classes.
Hachinson said, “There is a great way to achieve heart rate using swimming and water resistance and benefits of not putting pressure on the joints for the construction of water muscles.”
In addition to the strong background trainers in swimming, the St. Charles Aquatic Swim School maintains the small teacher-to-ectrop ratio to provide the best instructions for each swimmer, by Tim Lerchik, director of the St. Charles Aquatic Swim School, explained. The student instructor ratio for swimmers at the beginning through intermediate levels is 4: 1.
“We have a very good group of trainers who actually cares about children,” said Lerchik.
Children can start swimming instructions starting from six months in parents’ classes. St. Charles Swim School provides for preschool, youth and adults, whether they are learning to swim or want to improve their stroke.
“We have adults who want to be a triathlet and we run classes to help them bring them to better shapes,” Lerchik said.
The youth swim team offers a year -long team competition and many of its participants continue to swim in their high schools and beyond. In addition to the St. Charles aquatic swimming team, which passes through the early spring, is a summer team, available to swimmers of 6 years of age through Udibalav, 18. Learchik and John Cabel competitive swimming team manage the program.
“We really proud that program,” said Lerchik. In addition to training many swimmers, who go to compete with their local high schools and colleges, members at the event have chased Olympic dreams and swim for top college programs.
The registration opens in the indoor pool of the Noris Recreation Center through April along with April for the spring swim lesson session at the end of February. In addition to swimming instructions, there are classes on the basic principles of springboard diving and water polo. St. Charles Swim School also hosts programs for home school students.
