Nick Foligno admitted that the season is a “year of lesson” for Chicago BlackHox.
Lesson 1: You can’t play against a team like Carolina Hurricane on your heel, or you will take a nap and find yourself below 4–0 as if the Hawks did in the second period.
Lesson 2: Connor Bedard can turn it on at any time he wants. He scored a third period and assisted two.
Lesson 3: including Bedard and Company-Filip Kurashev, Bedard became quite a robin for Batman-Cowle could be so far away, as the third period rally in PNC Arena on Monday was reduced to the third period in the 6-3 defeat.
“We are uprooting too much,” Foligno said after the game. “When you get a team like them, who just come to you, you are caught if you are overthrowing. You look slow, you look dull. ,
Follingo said the team spoke between the late second and early third periods, “where we say that let’s forget about it and simply play,” Hawks bounced back with a goal (by Foligno) and two power-play goals (by Bedard and Tyler Johnson) in the third.
“This is a good lesson for us,” Foligno said. “This is just one year of lesson. Let’s be honest, this is.
“Saying this is useless saying, but we want to go through it as a group and just understand that you are just a way to compete and play, where you have got to think but you have to use your tendency too. Sometimes we uproot and our tendency goes away a bit, and this makes us cost the game. ,
Connor Bedard’s crook season: Tarking the goals of Chicago BlackHox number 1 pick
Coach Luke Richardson said, “We just had trouble handling his speed. They come to you and we know that they come with four lines all the time. Their de press. We have not handled it well yet.
“We were really not barely ripened in the first half of the game, so it is difficult to make anything aggressively and wasted too much energy defensively.”
With his 21st straight road loss (regulation or overtime), Hawks attracted a franchise-ridden 22-game road winner within a game of Lakir.
Richardson said, “Our game plan is to win every game, whether it is home or on the road.
“Unfortunately another team gets one matchup more,” he said, referring to strategic benefits such as final changes. “Obviously we are probably a little better with the matchup at home, so we have to work through it, because it has no control over the road.”
Bedard had overturned a goal for another game in one line due to an offset challenge, which was 3–2 win over Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
“Connor’s line really did well,” Richardson said. “Even the target (which) was called back, this is some speed.
“The speed gave us some power plays and the power plays performed well for us in the third period.”
According to NHL statistics, Bedard’s three points gave him his eighth multipoint game, with Eddie Olkesic the most for 18 years in the history of franchisees.
There are four takeaets here.
- 1. Two goals, two spin-o-Ram tricks and the center of both bedded.
- 2. The capture is the ninth-tenth part of the law (of hockey).
- 3. Lucas Richel should remove its magic in Rockford.
- 4. They are the two best friends that anyone can have.

On the target of Follingo in the second period, Brent Burns flooded the rim-round. Bedard seized it and found Foligno in Hash.
Foligno fired a backhander, which surprised Spencer Martin.
On Bedard’s marker in the third, Johnson gave Kurashev from under the goal line, who wandered in the crease on a backhand pass for Bedard.
Bedard had a wide net and hoisted only in the second power-play goal of his career.
Bedard left an impression on Can.
“He is a hurry. Very early. Kushal, “Sabstian Aho said.” Already knew he had an elite release. He is sure to be a very good player in this league for a long time. “
Rod Brind’amour said, “Very dynamic. I felt that we have done a good job on him and he is still on a scorchheet, isn’t it?”
“He is one of those players, he is going to be a cat of a player in this league. He is super-skilled, knows how to get his ice, knows how to find his companions. Whoever meets anyone to play with him is very lucky.”
2. The capture is the ninth-tenth part of the law (of hockey).

Hawkes have not faced several forechecks like Carolina.
The coaches spend 46.6% of their timing time in the aggressive field, which keeps them in 99 percent.
Conversely, hawks spend about 43% of their time in the defensive area – the league average is 40.8%.
Therefore, it should not be surprising that even in the first period, strength includes 87% cousi-for percentage includes a terrible 87% cousi-for percentage.
Richardson said, “They were doing a lot for us in the first period, where they directly automate it in the middle.
This is what happened on the initial target of Michael Bunting, where Jarad Tinnordy and Louis were out of the Crevier status.
Martin Nekus lured Tinurdi into a man’s land, in which Tinoradi left the net front for the chase Neka under the goal line – as Nesas passed one for a backhander distribution for a backhander from the net front.
Richardson said, “When we reach the man behind the net for tinardi, we have met to reach there, or catch that line, so it does not even go to the net front through you,” Richardson said. “The man is not going to score behind the net. But as a defenseman, your instinct is to hit and pin.
“Unfortunately that caught through Pak and Petra (Mrázek) had no chance on it.”
3. Lucas Richel should remove its magic in Rockford.
Hawks tried to scratch Reichel for some games – as he had done before this winter.
He tried to go to the video of his previous highlights.
Nothing was working. Richardson said that General Manager Kyle Davidson called Richel to send Richel to Rockford.
“We can only practice so much fighting in practice, and it’s not actually 100% translating in sports,” Richardson said. “We need to come to the game what we are doing in practice.”
Richel has struggled with the possession of the Pak and finding his shot.
In the previous season, he divided four games with Hawks between December and January before he was re -handed over to Rockford.
There, he had two goals and three assist at six Ishogs Games at the end of February, shortly before Hawks called him back to Chicago in March.
Richel offered six goals and six assistance in his last 19 matches for Hawks.
Richardson said, “It had really worked for him last year, and we just think that (for) to go down and get a high amount of confidence and representative … it’s going to help him, and then hope that he can find his game.”
4. They are the two best friends that anyone can have.
Chicago BlackHox ‘with Philip Kurashev Skates on Monday, 19 February, 2024 against the Carolina Storm in Rale, Nekan.
As a scorer or auxiliary, Bedard and Kurashev have worked together in 19 hooks-which includes the assistant of Kurashev on the power-play of Bedard on Monday.
Even though each example does not result in a puck in the net, it is easy to see a marked difference in the quality of these opportunities that the pair has created since the return from Bedard’s injury. Experienced Follingo has also failed in that mixture.
Bedard said before the game, “I think the best chemistry in my experiences, (when you have) are those who just like to talk to hockey, and we are good friends.
“I think it adds a lot, off-iS aspect. But we are still growing.”
