IHSA Personal State Tournament: At the State Farm Center in Champaign, Andy Barbariza of Crystal Lake South led a group of nine McHeenry County-sector wrestlers, which proceeded in their respective semi-finals, while three still remained in dispute to be eligible.
Barbarja remained undefeated in 285 pounds and upgraded in class 2A semi -finals. Austin Hedgewold (106) of Marion Central, Anthony Alanis (113), Breeden Tunisen (120), Vance Williams (132), Jimmy Mastni (157) and Max Estassio (165), Johnsburg’s Eric Bush (106) and Crystal Lake Central’s Sems (190).
Pedro Jimnez (150) of McHeenry and Radic Dworak (157) and Marcos Mihalopolos (285) of Huntley won each in their opening matches in class 3A and will compete in the quarter -finals on Friday morning.
Richmond-Better’s Emmet Nelson (144), Woodstock North’s Kaden Combes (175) and Carrie-Grove’s Lucas Burton (285) won their opening matches, but lost in the quarter-finals and will compete in the second round of wrestling.
R-B’s Body Rudkin (150) and Isaac Jones (157), PR’s Jake Loitzaki (113), Mickey Mede (126), Acnder York (157) and John Fallow (215), CG’s Hunter Lenas (113) and Noa Pachota (150), Eli (150), McCanil (215), McCon Casimino (175) of South, Johann Chavez (165) of Burlington Central and Dan French (190) and Andrew Alvarado (138) of Marion will lose their early matches and compete in the first round of wrestling on Friday morning.

Jacobs 70, Crystal Lake Central 61: At Crystal Lake, Golden Eagles (14–17, 9–9) won a Fox Valley conference to cap on the regular season against Tigers (6–24, 0–17).
Jacobs will start the playoffs against Mundelin in the Class 4A Jacobs regional semi-finals on Wednesday, while the Central will start against the Prerey Ridge in Class 3A Carry-Grove Regional Quarter Finals on Monday.
Antioch 52, Woodstock Answer 45: In Woodstock, Thunder (11–19) could not live at the conclusion of its regular season. He will start Postsen against Cyamore in Class 3A Belvidare North Regional semi -finals on Wednesday.
