Oklahoma City-Shai Gilgeous-Aexander gave another opportunity to flourish against his former team.
Gilgeous-Aexander-Blockbuster part of the July 2019 business, which brought perennial all-star Paul George to clippers (and the free agent Kavi Leonard lured him to accompany him) -31 points and Oklahoma City Thunder defeated Cleapers, 129-107 in a matchup of Western Conference on Thursday night.
Lu Dort added 19 points, Jalen Williams had 18 for Oklahoma City and Chet Holmagren 17. Thunder won the season series with clippers (a tiebreaker benefit) and improved 38–17 to move within a game of Western Conference.
“We came out with a great edge,” said Oklahoma City coach Mark Dignault. “Certainly slipped once or twice during the game, but the course was very well correct and played a very full 48 (minute).”
Gordon Haward played 14 minutes in his first game with Thunder after being acquired in a business with Charlotte. He missed both his shots and had four rebounds.
Kavi Leonard scored 20 points and Norman Powell added 19 points to the third-place clippers, which fell to 36–18.
Los Angeles coach Tyron Lew said, “We had a lot of property and drama where we (paint) and we did not do the right game, so they were able to get blocked shots and turnover.” “For most parts, I felt that we had done a good job. I felt that we had executed the game plan aggressively. Defense, we could have been much better. ,
Both teams were playing for the first time for the first time after the all-star break. The game returned to Oklahoma City for former Thunder players James Harden, Russell Westbrook and George.
The second major NBA scorer, Gilgas-Alexander scored 19 points on 7-for-10 shooting, helped Thunder take a 61–59 lead in Haftime. Pavel had distanced 14 from the bench to keep the clippers nearby.
Oklahoma City quickly controlled the second half in the second half behind nine digits, who started the third quarter in place of Josh Giddi. The third sting of the quarter of Joa beyond 81-74, with 5:59 left.

A Giddi 3-Poanter gave Thunder a 91-79 advantage and the lead increased to 96–79 on a jumper, which has a jumper by Gilgus-Alexander with 35.2 seconds in the quarter.
Cleepers cut it to 111–99 on Pavel’s jumper, with 6:08 left in the fourth quarter, but Oklahoma City dropped him out of the rest of 18–8.
