Kings closed the first quarter for 17–1 runs to take a 36-22 lead.
Chicago responded with a start of 22–5 in the second quarter to move above 44–41. Kings once again strengthened the quarters, scored the last eight points and led 56–49 in Haftime.
Bulls won despite being out of 51–32, including 20–7 on aggressive glass.
