The Boston Police is looking for two suspects involved in two robberies in the city’s Hyde Park neighborhood on Monday evening.
The first took place in the Hyde Park Market on River Street around 5:50 pm
The suspects were not either armed in the incident. One, described as a man in his 20s, was wearing a black hoodi, black surgical mask and gloves. Second, which was also described as a person in its 20s, was wearing a red hoodie, gray sweatpant, glasses and a black mask, but the witnesses said that he turned into a yellow sweets between the events.
Both men were seen running on Metropolitan Avenue, then the Hyde Park Avenue was seen below the American Legion Highway.
Two people stole the money from the cash register in the Hyde Park Market while tossing with the clerk.
“I was nervous, like,” the clerk said, who did not want to identify.
The clerk says that both people were out of the store several times on Monday evening, before they made their steps. At one point, one of them tried to make his way behind the counter, but it was reported that it was not allowed.
The clerk said, “I have warned that he did not come in, it is a restricted area.”
The clerk tried his best to close the attackers, but he became strong because men were tireless – even breaking the register at a point.
They got away with about $ 2,000 cash.
About an hour later and a mile, a CVS store was robbed on the Hyde Park Avenue, as well.
CVS said in a statement, “We are collaborating with the local police because they investigate.” “We are grateful that no colleague or customer was hurting.”
Police believe that the same men are responsible for both the robbery.
Yavon Christian, a resident of Shopper and Hyde Park, said, “I don’t want to attack as the next person or just shot to go to a store.”
In the Hyde Park Market, the clerk says he was shaken and there were some minor scratches on his arm.
He says that next time, he will not fight back, because life is very valuable.
“Our lives are more important than money,” he said.
The suspects did not show any weapon.
No arrests have been made.
