The biggest outage appeared in AT & T. The reason for the outage was not clear, but AT&T released the following statements:

The website downdetector.com, which allows customers to report outage or connectivity issues, had 31,800 reports of AT&T issues before 6 pm.

Wral News received at least five emails from local audiences before 6 am

Verizon and T-Mobile users were also reporting issues on Thursday, with about 900 reports from T-Mobile customers and 2,000 reports from Verizon customers.

People who want a way to communicate during the outage can use messaging apps such as WhatsApp, which are for text friends and family members using Wi-Fi. The iPhone users can also use iMessage to connect with other apple users.
