AT&T said that its service was restored on Thursday after a large -scale, nationwide outage.
Wral News on Thursday received dozens of customers reports with AT&T and other cell service providers, reporting nationwide connectivity issues.
The nationwide, on Thursday morning, had more than 70,000 reports of AT and T Outage. By 9 am, the actual number was very high. At 11 am, AT & T stated that the service was restored on three-fourths of the network.
The reason for the outage was not clear, but AT&T released the following statements:
Some of our customers are experiencing wireless service blockage this morning. Our network teams took immediate action and so far, three-fourths of our network has been restored. We are working as soon as possible to restore the service to the remaining customers.
AT&T also encouraged users to go to this service outage information page.
Many users specifically reported issues with cell service, in which “SOS” is visible on top of their phone, which indicates that a phone can only be used for emergency calls.

“I have no data connection,” Kristeon Bass said, who lost the cell service on Thursday. “It tells me that I am not connected to the network and need to be connected.
“Fortunately, I have WiFi.”
On Thursday, Heather Scott lost the AT & T Sale service of traveling from Atlanta to Rale-Darham International Airport.

Wral News on Thursday morning received at least 15 emails about AT & T issues and more calls.
Former wireless network engineer Pierce Gordeman said that we are lucky as widely rare like Thursdays.
“This is a large and very complex network, and I think it is a testimony for design work they do to ensure that the network is reliable and strong,” Gorman said.
Verizon and T-Mobile users were also reporting issues on Thursday, with about 900 reports from T-Mobile customers and 2,000 reports from Verizon customers.
People who want a way to communicate during the outage can use messaging apps such as WhatsApp, which are for text friends and family members using Wi-Fi.
