Roast & Toast and ‘high-end’ piano bar both planned for downtown McHenry – Shaw Local

Lauren Alexander admits that he and his business partners are very quiet about what their plans for Rost and Tast in McHeenry.

“We like the element of surprise,” Alexander said, “Every five seconds, someone asks when it is going to open.”

Alexander said that the concept of new restaurants in 1250-1252 N Green St. is now opening in early March.

The plans they plan “meet a starbucks by a basecin Robins” at the location, which was a pearl cafe hidden by 2022 in summer.

Rost and Tast, with Fox on Run Piano Bar, set up for 3316 Pearl Saint, both appear to be on Tuesday in the McHeenry City Council’s agenda demanding a liquor license. The meeting was taken back one day from its regular Monday slot due to the day -to -day holiday of the presidents.

According to the city’s documents, owner Jessica Canon said Fox on the run “will be the first exclusive piano bar of McHeenry … to offer a high-end, energetic atmosphere with live piano music,” Cocktail, Mocktail, Craft Beer and Wine’s service.
