Search suspended for 4 men who left for boating trip and never returned – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

Venice, Florida (WFTS) – Many law enforcement agencies have suspended their discovery for four men who have not left for a boat Vihar Yatra in Venice on Saturday morning.

According to a family member, the group left at around 8 pm on Saturday and did not return as per the plan that night.

Shortly after Sunday at 8 am, the Sarsota County Sheriff Office (SCSO) dispatch contacted the Venice Police Department (VPD) to examine the Marina Park Boat Ramp (near the historic Venice train depot) for a vehicle and boat trailer left behind by the group. Vehicles and trailer were located in the park.

By Monday afternoon, officials and family members said the search was still running for the missing men.


The missing sailors have been identified as 38 -year -old Angel Hernandez Munoz of North Port; 54 -year -old Ruben Mora Senior of Port Charlotte; 37 -year -old Julio Sesar Kordero Brians of North Port; And the 35 -year -old class of northern port, Parra.

The group’s vessel is the 1995 23 -foot white sportcraft, registration #FL9937HC.

The VPD Marine is working with the US Coast Guard, SCSO, Sarsota Police Department, Maante County Sheriff Office and FWC to help in the discovery of petrol sailors.

The Coast Guard is searching for areas beyond nine miles using several ships and aircraft, while local law enforcement ships are searching nine miles from the edge. The search will continue on Sunday night and Monday.
