The city of Lawrence will reopen its fertilizer facility for the season on Saturday, March 2.

People can self-load more than 20 gallon manure materials or 20 gallons for woodchips or $ 10 for free. Depending on the amount, residents can also leave yard waste for a fee of $ 10 or $ 20. The transaction will only be accepted in cash, and no bill larger than $ 20.
This feature is currently scheduled for self-load Saturday through the end of November, except for the first Saturday of April, May, June, August and October, which are slashed on the city-load days.
