German publisher Axle Springer CEO, billionaire Hedge Fund Manager Bill Ekman and Mathius Dopfner were seen dinner together at New York City Restaurant last week, Page Six told on February. According to sources talking to Page Six, despite Ekman’s recent threat, the business of his wife owned by Axle Springer was “harmonious” and “good” of his dinner with Dopfner, with Dopfner.

Despite his issues with Business Insider, in his X post, Ekman said that he has heard from “many people around the world” that Dopfner is “a wonderful, first -class person”.
It is possible that Ackman and Döpfner are familiar only recently. But an organization called World Minds, founded by Axle Springer Swiss writer Rolf Dobeli, has been in Ekman’s orbit as a majority stakeholder. In the New York magazine published on 12 February, a profile of Ackman mentioned a gathering in November 2023, which was organized by the investor and his wife on behalf of the world brain.
There are about 1,500 aristocrats around the world in the World Minds community, and its rotational ceremonies aim to discuss global issues among themselves in “Intellectual Oasis” according to their website. The Oxman sits on the organization’s board.
Axle Springer became a majority investor in the World Minds in 2022. Dopfner said in a statement at that time that his company would help to expand the organization internationally.
