‘The Little Way’ generates soulful abundance – Shaw Local

She is known for sending roses from heaven.

Abundant roses shed, or just something to cross the message. Sometimes there is a strong aromatic rose fragrance when there are no real roses nearby.

He is St. Theres of Lisax, also known as “The Little Flower”.

Before dying, St. Theres wrote how she wanted to spend eternity:

“I will send a rose shower from the sky; I will spend my heaven to do well on earth, ”he wrote.

St. Theres is wildly popular, for a position -like position in almost some circles. Many devotees receive regular assurances for the prayers given, asking him to “send them (send them) a rose”. But, as it can occur with other saints, its following risks to lose the knowledge of its message to exaggerated sacred practices.

Just as Jesus spoke in Gospel, our faith should not be based on searching or attaining “signal”. If God chooses to send us a topical consolation, whatever form, it is the business of God. It is not for us that we come from him, or get caught in good feelings from it, but it is intended to strengthen us in confidence and pursue us, as is in our recommendation to live as Jesus.

I have felt a push-pull curiosity about most of the St. Theres of my adult life. I have heard a lot about him, but his highly sacred image among his followers closed me. And yet, I have inspired myself to read about it or reach him from time to time. Every time I have told him – without any uncertain words – that I want to know him, but I can do without additional sugar.

As I have grown in my faith, I have come to know that St. Theres and his authentic spirituality are not pure at all.

For example, Jesus overturned the tables of traders in the temple, to capitalize on people’s faith, the spirituality of St. Theres, also known as “The Little Way”, is revolutionary in more, status and greed in our modern world.

In his autobiography “The Story of a Sol”, Theres compared people to flowers, recognizing that some flowers (and people) are stronger and rigid with nature, and some are less. But the purpose of all is, whether they are regardless of their perceived importance by others.

“Rose’s splendor and lily’s whiteness neither rob the small purple of its fragrance nor the diesel of its simple attraction,” she wrote. “If every small flower wanted to be a rose, Vasant would have lost its love.”

“The Little Way” teaches us to live our lives with humility and authenticity. Instead of demanding to be like everyone, or what everyone has, we should just be what we were making. And in the world of God, what we were designed to do is intend to use God and each other in service, not for worldly benefits.

During the last several years, I have suffered from flowers. I sit between them. I doodle them. I sometimes arrange them. I sometimes spend online hours in search of flower images and form the basis in their vast beauty and grace.

Every time I do any of these things, my relationship with St. Theres of Lisax is stronger.

Through these practices, I learn more deeply how flower is a metaphor for specificity, ease, diversity, fertility and development. And how just rather than finding a name for myself, I am opening my heart for spiritual abundance, instead of finding a name for myself.

It is irony that the spirituality of St. Theres of Lisax is getting stronger at all times, more permanent and meaningful spiritual “returns” have been received for loyal, and is a product for its patrons compared to the insolvency values of our corrupt world.

There is such a way in the kingdom of God.
