According to the Chicago police, a man and woman was taken to a hospital in an area on Saturday afternoon in the 60s after being shot in the city’s Garfield Park neighborhood.
The 65 -year -old woman and the 67 -year -old man were standing on the pavement around 4 pm in 2800 blocks of West Polk Street, when police said a vehicle pulled and a gunman opened fire on both victims.
The woman was shot in the arm and in the left leg. Police said both were taken to a good position to Sinai Hospital. The authorities did not offer any known purpose for the attack.
The police did not have any suspected custody as an investigation into the shooting.
