(AP) – “Openhameer” continued to streaming through the Hollywood awards season on Saturday, won the top award for outstanding artists, with awards for Silion Murphy and Robert Downey Junior at the 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards.
As the Academy Awards come close, Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster biopic-first looks like a run-up with a winner-Teji in Golden Globes and Baffus. SAG Awards, one of the most tailoring Oscar prophets, will only add speed to “Openheimer”, Lead Academy Awards with Nodes 13 nodes.
The SAG awards do not always indicate the success of the Oscars. Two of the last five winners of the guild (“Test of Chicago 7” and “Black Panther”) lost to the Academy Awards. But in the last two years, all of the five of the top SAG awards – the contingent of the best artists and the four acting winners – have reconciled with the final Oscar winners, including “everything once everywhere” and “Koda”.
This may mean that SAGS offered Oscar preview in two closest competitions: Best Actor and Best Actress.
The most exciting victory of the night went to Lily Gladstone for a female actor in a lead role in the “The Killers of the Flower Moon” of Martin Scores. Any category is fought more warmly, analysts equally divided between gladstone and Emma Stone for “poor things”.
But Gladstone won on Saturday and the crowd erupted. Stone, too, stood up and strictly appreciated. This year, any other Oscar is riding more on gladstones than a contender. His victory will be the first time for the original Americans.
Murphy and Paul Giamati (“The Holdover”) have also been seen in the neck and neck competition. But Murphy has now won in Sags, BAFTAS and Globes, suggesting that it is a clear lead in the Academy Awards.
Robert Downey Junior and Da’Vine Joy Randolph each won for his supportive performance, similarly the Oscar strengthened his position as a favorite.
Downey Junior smiled, accepting his first SAG award for a film role for his performance in Christopher Nolan’s “Openhaimer”.
“Why do I? Now why? Why are things going on my way?” Downy Jr. said, “Unlike my fellow enrolled people, I will never get tired of my voice.”
Both Downey Junior – who won again over Ryan Gosling (“Barbie”) – and emerged as the Randolf Academy Award. His victory on Saturday should make him shoe-in.
Randolf’s performance in Alexander Payne’s “The Holdover” has played a success role for a 37 -year -old actor. Now, he is ready to win the Academy Award.
“Every actor is still waiting in wings for his opportunity, let me tell you: your life can change in a day,” Randolf said. “It’s not a question but when. keep going.”
The 30th screen actors were running with the Oscar speed for the tombs for the guild awards, live streaming on Netflix, lead nominee “Openheimer” and “Barbie”. The host-cum ceremony closed at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall at Los Angeles.
Idris Elba jokingly said, “Personally, I can’t wait to go home and recommend Netflix the show to recommend the show based on all other items.”
After more than two decades on TNT and TBS, to reduce the number of viewers, Netflix gained telecast rights for SAG Awards in early 2023. This meant some different rules, which had no advertisements and poor language were allowed. Elba, who kicked the show on stage, suggested a delicate dance.
“Don’t say anything that you won’t say in front of Opra,” Elba said, who immediately added an explain.
This year’s SAG Awards follow a fierce months strike in which the SAG-AFTRA Union fought a bitter battle on several issues. Most of the work stagnation for a change in the film and TV industry brought by streaming and a maritime change led by Netflix was motivated.
“Your solidarity ignited workers worldwide, which will be remembered as ‘The Hot Labor Summer’ forever, triggering,” SAG-AFTRA President Frank Dressure said. “This was a fundamental moment in the history of our union.”
The night hosts did not take a long time to nab their own award. Ali Wong, who sports one of the most eye -catching looks on the red carpet, won a limited series for the best female actor or Netflix series “Beef” in a TV film. Later, his co-star Steven Yehun also won.
“The Beer” continued his awards, won the Best Comedy Series, and the award for Jeremy Alan White and Ayo Adebiri.
The new streaming platform was sure to make a spotlight and even more spotlight on one of the most closely viewed prophets of the Academy Awards. Oscar voting wraps on Tuesday. Advertisement Brakes lacking meant some notable twics. Shortly after winning, many winners were interviewed by backstage-sometimes attractively, sometimes strangely-red-carpet co-co-script by Tan France.
Pedro Pascal, very surprised, won the best male actor in a play series for “The Last of As”.
“This is wrong for several reasons,” Pascal said. “I am a little drunk. I thought I could be drunk. ,
Accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper, Barbara Streesand kept the audience in mind.
“I remember the dream of being an actress as an actress sitting on my bed in Brooklyn with a pint of coffee ice cream and a film magazine,” Striesand said, who was being transfixed by “My First Crush”, Marlan Brando.
Streesand also took a moment to convince Hollywood’s Jewish forearm.
“Now I dream of a world where such prejudice is a matter of the past,” he said.
During the red carpet, two awards were announced for the Stunt Ensambal. He went to the stunt actors of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Rekning Part One” in the film category, and for “The Last of As” in television.
Saturday’s show was one of the most important forces of Netflix which was still in live streaming events. Netflix has earlier hosted a live Chris Rock Comedy Special, a Celebrity Golf Tournament and a Live Reunion “Love Is Blind” episode, which was associated with technical difficulties. But Netflix is gearing up for more. On March 3, it will stream a live tennis event.
