He was referring to the Chicago Daily Newspaper being released from the all-area team.
“He is still hurting that he hasn’t formed an all-area team,” Discox said about Hurd. “He is taking it out on everyone. I like him for him.
“I felt that he should have made that team, and he wanted to prove everyone wrong. Kudos.”
Brownfield, who scored nine points in the second half, made four free throw in the fourth quarter and put HF ahead of blazing trojans. He first praised his team partner.
“Bryus is definitely doing everything right,” Brownfield said. “He is taking great shots. He is a leader at an early age. He is doing what we expected from him.
“He has got a lot of capacity, and it was great to see what he is doing.”

Vikings, who won the superstitional games to reach the state in 1967, 1985 and 2004, are focusing on returning again.
“I’m happy and blessed,” said Dismuks. “But you won’t see me very smiling because, honestly, this is a cob bryant quotation – ‘I’m not finished.” I want to win the state.
