Angelo Siyarwino climbed the ladder, cut the first piece of net and heard Cheers.
“Yes, Angelo,” Mount Carmel’s fans screamed on Friday night.
Siyarwino turned to him and replied, “Let’s go!”
Ten minutes had passed since the 73-57 win over De La Sale in Class 3A Hansdale South Sectional Championship Game in Darren, but Siyarwino was still cracking with energy.
“It’s great,” Siyarvino said, who missed six games this season, with a stressful left hip flexor. “I noticed that my seniors have cut the net for us last year, and it is a thrill this year.”
Northwestern-bound Siyarwino was the main reason that the scissors were taken to Sutli by Caravan (30-5), who would play against St. Patrick at 6 pm on Monday evening at UIC Superstitional, who were 56–38 winners on petan.
6 -6 -6 Senior Guard, Ciaravino, Mount Carmel leads only for the third sectional championship in the history of the program and before 2008. He put a game-high 34 points to go with nine rebels, three theft, two aids and two blocked shots.
Junior Guard Cameron Thomas added 23 points, six rebounds and two assistance as Caravan ended De La Salle’s dialect for its first sectional title since 1983.
No one was surprised by Ciavarino’s performance.
“No,” Thomas said. “This is just his effort that he keeps every day. He does all the work, so it does not surprise me at all. ,

Ciavarino, whose father, played for Tony, de La Salle, politely shared the credit for victory.
“Everyone is looking to take steps,” Siavarino said. “This happened just as a man to take steps. This could have been anyone. At the end of the day, we are all great players.
“They have my back and I have them.”
The second seeded de la Salle (22–12) made the Sophomore Guard Strict behind the game of Charles Barns, who scored 19 points of his team-high 27 points in the first half.
Top seeded Mount Carmel led 24–14 after Ciavarino’s four 3-pointers, but meteors ralled up to 37–35 from Tariyuan Williams on 3-thirds from Tariyuan Williams on 6:04 mark of the third quarter.

Then Siavarino exploded. He scored the next 10 points and ended to break the back of meteors with 17 in the third quarter, which never recovered from there.
Ciavarino tied the game with a paste, then hit the Go-Farward 3-Pinter on the upcoming possession. They chased with a pair of stealing, which they converted into a tritter of another 3-pointer and a coast-to-bite for a 45–37 lead.
Mount Carmel coach Phil Segroves said, “He decided that he wanted to take over and he took over.” “This is so simple. They took good shots in rhythm, went into the great downhill basket.
“There was nothing out of the realm of what he could do. So he is a big ten player. ,

How does it feel to be in such an area?
Ciavarino said, “No feeling that,” Ciavarino said, who shot 10 out of 10 from the floor and 10 out of 10 from a free-thro line. “It is a big crowd, and it is just indescribable.”
His crime was good as, the theft of Ciavarino was equally important.
“My motor was very high, and I had the energy to go and anticipate,” Siavarino said. “I’m not doing this if I think I don’t have it. I had this (Friday night) and I guessed it well. ,
Thomas said that the greatness of Ciavorino – and there is another component for the success of the caravan.
“This is just a desire to win,” Thomas said. “He wants to win very hard. He pushes us into practice and he inspires us to work hard every day. ,
