The book may soon be closed for a tenure on the board of Downers Grove Library Trustee Bill Nienberg.
Library trustees voted on Wednesday to recommend the removal of Nienburg from the board, a step that requires the approval of Downes Grove Guld Council.
The Gram Parishad is expected to discuss the recommendation in its meeting on Tuesday.
The library board trustees are appointed by the trustee mayor, and the appointments are approved by the Gram Parishad.
