Sycamore – Sycamore City leaders are expected to vote on a resolution on Monday, which can expand the geographical area of Decalab County, for economic development for economic development from about 800 acres of land, which is trying to woo further counting trade development, documents.

The agreement requires approval from all the municipalities designated in the agreement to modify the existing land lines for enterprise zones, including Decalab Countland, Cortland, Genoa, Sandwich and Waterman.
The expansion requires approval from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities, State.
The Dekalb City Council approved the expansion a week ago, which the city leaders said that it could help to continue the pace that has already seen more than $ 2 billion invested in the area. Williams wrote that he believes that modifying the boundary of Decalb County Enterprise Zone to include 14 parcels in the south south of the Crampowest Business Center will help keep the county business goals on track.
