Ottawa High School’s concert IHSA Class A is fourth in the overall competition.
The program earned 456 points after Saturday’s single/enclosed competition, one of the two competitions that form a overall state chain. The next competition is organizational and Ottawa is scheduled to perform on 12–13 April in Princeton. Ottawa trails Vheton St. Francis with 639, Kavani with 630 and Sekamore with 525.
There are more variables with students competing in many events in Solo and Ensambal. There are four demonstrations in the second part-organization competition of two-part competition, with a maximum of 300 total marks available. In the previous years, Ottawa has maximized its score during the organization competition.
Ottawa has won 22 state music titles, winning its last class AA State title in 2017-2018. The program has ended either second or third place.
