Wral News received a video footage of a house attack late Friday night in Hoke County, in which a person was admitted to the hospital.
Investigators said four people broke into a house on Friday night in 900 blocks of Loop Road in Hawk County.
Tigra Headen and his mother were at home during a break-in.
“My mother kept saying that she heard someone out,” he said. “They took Prakash down from outside, and it did not come. When I came out of the backroom, they knocked on the door and asked to use my phone.”
Hayden said that before he could roam around, a man hit him in the head with a gun. The other three men came then and vandalized the house, pointing to Hayden and his mother, who have Alzheimer’s.
“One of them pointed my mother to a gun, and I jumped in front of her,” Hayden said. “One said,” We are not going to hurt your mother, “and the other one came back and hit me behind the head. Then I fell on the floor.”
In the ring doorbell footage, you can hear Hayden pleading with four men, telling them that they have wrong people and wrong houses.
“They tried to pull me out of the door,” Hayden said. “I think they were trying to bring me into the car to go with them, but I was catching.”
Hayden said that the invaders of the house let him go after leaving, as they used to reach him for a hammer because they were pulling him out. They then took their car and went away.
One was chased, during which armed suspects shot the authorities, attacking their vehicle. No officer was injured.
The suspects then crashed the car near the mountain court in Hilkrest area of Riford and stopped running.
Authorities arrested a person, Octavius Parsel, and accused him of attempt to murder, shooting in an occupied vehicle, first-degree robbery and other allegations.
