Key Biscune, Fla. (WSVN) – A deadly accident claimed a woman’s life on the leading Bisken who was out for a bicycle ride.

Twenty -six -year -old Megan Andrews was badly killed by a 12 -year -old man riding his bicycle at the intersection of Woodcrest Road and Hampton Lane on Wednesday night.

The victim’s friend Mark Fried said that she knows her entire life and she said that she was more than one million types of person.

“She was a wonderful teacher. She taught my nephew, who has special requirements,” he said. “She loves and loves the community. This gave me the privilege of crying.”

Fried described the crash scene.

“There were four or five police cars with Roshni, and a crime tape,” he said, “he said.

Fried finger the village of the major Biscan government, saying that for a very long time, he has treated potential e-bikes and scooter accidents. Back in February, he wrote a letter to the village council about the problem.

“Stop the signals have no meaning. Cars mean nothing. They are out of there,” he said. “The story has two sides. A leadership failure and the rules do not have to be established or implemented. The big story is the disadvantage of a wonderful woman.”

Neighbors agree to assess the Fried.

“If you have children, there are 10 -year -old children, younger or older, driving around these bikes which are 30 mph, the speed limit here is 20 mph. Running stop signs. The wrong direction. Going in the wrong direction, on the streets,” George Nelson, the victim’s neighbor said.

In Florida, no age limit or license is required to use e-bike.

For years, and recently as Tuesday night, the residents appeared in a village council meeting to warns the members that something can be terrible if they do not tighten the children, who are away from the years away from receiving the license of a legitimate driver, ride e-bikes, riding e-bikes, which is at a speed of 30 miles per hour.

Residents said that these children are ignoring the drivers road rules or not.

“I would like to say that the safety and safety of our residents is a highest priority,” said Biscan Mayor Joe Rasco during Tuesday’s meeting.

Village officials were asked to draft their opinion on the matter. But after Andrews’ death, Rasco is taking immediate measures.

In a video, Rasko said, “The residents of E-Back are so angry that the mayor has announced an emergency city council meeting on Friday, 16 February, where I will propose an immediate effective ban on e-bikes and scooters.”

But the neighbors said that the village move could be very low, it can be too late.

Nelson said, “It is a column of the community. I grew up with his two children, and this is just a big disadvantage because we are all trying to control these e-bikes, which have become wild here.”

“This leadership, he did not do his work,” said Fried.

Rasco’s office told 7news that the mayor was not available for an interview on Thursday, but would be more to say in Friday’s meeting.

It is not clear whether the 12-year-old person involved in the deadly accident will face any result.
