Northwest Miami-Dad, Fla. (WSVN) – A road rage incident with interstate 95 resulted in a shooting that sent a person to the hospital and motivated the authorities to take another custody, the police said.
The Miami-Dade Police and Miami-Dad Fire Rescue Units responded to the report of shooting a person in the field of Northwest 103rd Street and Seventh Avenue, after 10 pm on Friday.
The officers who responded to the victim arrived to find the victim of at least one gun bullet.
Paramedics took the patient to the Rider Trauma Center in a stable position.
Back to the scene, 7news cameras captured a circumference, extending to the Sunflex Gas Station, as well as two parks with their headlights.
Officials have closed the Northwest 103rd Avenue near the I-95 near the on-ramp, so the drivers are unable to reach the on-ramp.
Officers urge drivers to escape the area and seek alternative routes.
Police said they have detained a person to determine their participation, as they continue to investigate.
