The new structure declared by the province of the Surishramix Jolit at St. Joseph’s Church in Jolit is objecting to its placement in the form of a subjected church.
The church established in 1891 detects its roots for Slovenian immigration which was a major factor in the development of the Jolit.
Jolit’s Suba has included the church in the position that the Parisian said that his financial support of the church abandons the uncertainty, although his financial support is important for the construction of a new Parish under the Sub -Reorganization Scheme.
In January, Jolit’s Suba announced a consolidation plan which mainly includes the church in Jolit and Crest Hill.
The reorganization is placed under a new parish headed by St. Mary Magdleen to St. Joseph, which is attracted by St. Joseph Parisioners that attracts a fraction of churchgorers coming to St. Joseph.
St. Joseph, a parician from St. Joseph, said, St. Joseph had done 240 churchgorers in the month at 10:30 am on February 11, compared to 40 in St. Mary Magdleen.
“We would just like to do what we have been doing for 134 years,” said Patrela. “We want to be alone, if this is possible. If this is not possible, we want to be a parish seat.”
A news release issued by St. Joseph Parisioners on Friday stated that Parish has “more money in the bank” than the other three parganas, with which it will be merged – St. Mary Magdleen, St. Anthony and St. Bernard.
St. Mary Magdleen will become a major church under the new dioxseen system.
According to the release, St. Joseph has no loan, but its property will be transferred to the new parish.
According to the release, “Parisian is deeply aware that the only way of New Parish is with the property of St. Joseph.”
The future of St. Joseph is left uncertain under the Suba Reorganization Scheme.
Jolit’s Suba did not respond to the remarks request.
St. Joseph Jolyet has the remaining churches, which can detect their roots to the 19th -century European migrants.
In 2010, Sububa ordered the conclusion of the Parish School at St. Joseph, although a private school called St. Joseph Academy was later opened and remedy in operation.
Jolit’s Suba announced the current consolidation in January, given that it would mean closure of five churches, including four – St. Anthony, St. Bernard, St. Jude and Sacred Heart. St. Anne will also be closed in Crest Hill.
