Officials said Salem, New Hampshire, two adults were found dead in suspicious circumstances in a house on Saturday.
It was not immediately clear how the people died, but Attorney General John Pharmela and Salem Police Chief Joel Dolan said in a statement that there was no threat to the public.
Officials said that after 911 calls, officers were sent home and both adults were found dead inside.
Salem police said the investigation was focused at a house in Bodwell Avenue. The police tape was seen around the house on Saturday evening as the police continued the investigation.
Those found dead have not been identified.
