Streator library to host 1950s radio talk, other activities the week of Feb. 23 – Shaw Local

Streator Library Patrons will have an opportunity to travel on the Radio Wednesday, February 21 of the 1950s.

Steve Darnell will lead a presentation on radio in the 1950s. Registration for the program in the library is required at 130S Park St., https://www.stretorpubliclibrary.org/.

Additionally, the library will be hosting a flower-themes. Themes change weekly.

5 to 6 pm Monday, 19 February: Arts and crafts with Maddy, children 0 to 5. Create cute and fun projects to take home.


4 to 4:30 pm Tuesday, 20 February: Storytime, children 0 to 5. Listen to a story that is themed for the week.

4:30 to 5 pm Tuesday, 20 February: Lego club, children 0 to 4.

10:30 to 11 am on Wednesday, 21 February: Toddler Time, Children 0 to 5. Toddlers can move and groove as they develop social skills with others.

1 to 2 pm Wednesday, 21 February: Kozy Mystery Book Club, Adult. Check with the desk to see which book the library is reading.

4 to 5 pm Thursday, 22 February: Game Informer, 19 through age 10. See different types of games.

5 to 6 pm Thursday, 22 February: Sports night, 19 years of age. Through 19. Looking for a fun crowd? Play some games in the library.

3:30 to 4:30 pm Friday, February 23: Disney Trivia Bingo, participants will have to register at https://www.stretorpubliclibrary.org/.

1 to 4 pm Saturday, 24 February: Dungon and Dragon, Teen. Will you start the journey?
