Bellingham, MA armed convenience store robbery suspect arrested – NECN

Belingham police detained a man who allegedly looted a feature store at a gun tip in Belingham of Massachusetts and then ran away after chasing a police car and leg, which ended near Voonasocket, Road Island.

Officials said that he recovered 41 -year -old, Agapito Devilla from Vunsocket from Lowell, Massachusetts and returned it to Belingham Police Department on Sunday.

On 10 February, Devila was seen demonstrating “suspicious behavior” outside Belingham Beer and Wine near 20 North Main Street, according to Bradley Choffe, an officer of Belingham Police Department. After Davila got out of the store and entered his car, the authorities found that the vehicle driving was stolen and started chasing after the car.

The police then came to know that the facility store was robbed at the tip of the gun. While chasing the car ending near Rhod Island, Vunasocket, Avila jumped from the car and ran away on foot, while her vehicle landed on the road. He was not located immediately later.


Massachusetts State Police Crime Site services conducted an inquiry, Avila was identified, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. The warrant included masked armed robbery, lanes, carrying a loaded gun without a license, failure for police, careless operations of a motor vehicle, and obtaining stolen property of more than $ 1,200.

On Saturday evening, the police was given a tip that Devilla Lowell was at a special address in Massachusetts. After receiving the search warrant, the Lello Police and Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council SWAT team carried out the warrant and took Devila into custody.

Devilla was transferred to the Norfolk County House of Correction to wait for transport. He will be held in the Milford District Court on Tuesday.
